Julia Sikes

Hello! My name is Julia Sikes and I am a Missouri native. I went to Truman State University where I earned a Bachelor's in Psychology and a Master's in Elementary Education. After college, I moved down here to the Emerald Coast and did my student teaching at Kenwood Elementary in Fort Walton Beach. I have spent the last 3½ years teaching at public schools in the Okaloosa County School District, including Kenwood Elementary, Bluewater Elementary, and Pryor Middle School.

Outside of teaching, I love traveling! I have been to New York, Arizona, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Virginia, Indiana, and Georgia. Outside of the States, I've been to London, Normandy, Paris, Venice, Milan, Rome, and Pompeii. I even got engaged at the top of Mt. Vesuvius to my fianceé, Max!

I am so excited to be here at The Nature School. Teaching is my passion, and this school is exactly the kind of place I can pursue that passion. I can't wait to meet your students and make lasting memories while learning about the world around them!
