Lisa Minus

I hold a degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Human Resources from Elmhurst College, IL . I am married to my husband, Jeff, and together we have four children, all of whom were raised in Carbondale, Illinois. For many years, I was a stay-at-home mom, dedicating my time to raising our family. Once our twins entered pre-K, I began working in the local school system—first as a pre-K aide, then as a substitute teacher for grades Pre-K through 12.

A few years later, I accepted a position as the Financial Secretary at the junior high school that all of our children attended, a role I truly enjoyed. After the twins graduated high school, Jeff and I relocated to Florida with them. Not long after, our middle daughter and her husband moved here as well, though our son and daughter-in-law still reside in St. Louis, MO.

In February, we were blessed with our first granddaughter, Emersyn Grace, who has brought such joy to our lives. Jeff and I love walking the beach, playing pickleball, and simply spending time together. I also enjoy reading, taking walks, and organizing anything I can get my hands on!
